After dabbling in oriental bellydance styles for a couple of years, in 2003, Barbara attended a workshop with
Devi Mamak and her Tribal love affair began from there. She has since studied with Hilary Cinis, Paulette Rees-Denis, Rachel Brice and Carolena Nerriccio. She has performed with Australian troupes, Urban Turban, Urban Qabila and Ghaziya and also performs as a solo artist, with live musical accompaniment from Tom Veck on doumbek and percussion. Barbara is teacher certified with Fat Chance Bellydance and has taught in Sydney and the UK.
